Anna M. Bell, age 83 years, of Flemington, NJ died on Friday, February 4, 2005 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Whitehouse, NJ, May 2, 1921, daughter of the late Melvin and Anna Mae Stires Bishop, she had formerly resided in Cokesbury, NJ before moving to Flemington forty years ago.

She was formerly a waitress at Circle Diner, Flemington, then at Flemington Family Restaurant. For several years, Mrs. Bell was employed by the Hunterdon YMCA Before and After School Program at Robert Hunter School, Raritan Township, NJ. She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, Stanley Bell, died in 1961. Surviving are three sons, Stanley and James Bell, both of Flemington, NJ and Edward Bell of Gainsville, FL; two daughters, Frances Bass of Flemington, NJ and Anne Suk of Bridgewater, NJ; a brother, Howard Bishop of Lakewood, NJ; two sisters, Evelyn Galinat of Linden, NJ and Ruth Matches of Tampa, FL; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Clinton, NJ.
