Cody Michael Moore

Cody Michael Moore, of Readington Township NJ, aged 24 years, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 in a motorcycle accident in Bushkill PA. He was a life-long resident of Hunterdon County.

Born November 22, 1991, in New Brunswick NJ, Cody was the son of Michael E. Moore and Janice (Pfauth) Moore. He was a graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, and had special talents for working on various types of machinery. From farm equipment to motorcycles and cars, Cody could be found disassembling and reassembling all types of machinery with ease.

In addition to working on various vehicles, Cody loved to ride motorcycles, fast cars and was in the process of obtaining a helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft license. He enjoyed playing video games with friends, played the electric guitar and collected many types of fish for his tank.

In addition to his family, however, Cody loved animals, most of all his beloved dog, Molly.

Cody was predeceased by his grandfather, Collis Moore and his beloved cousin, Jay Pfauth, Jr., and is survived by his mother, Janice Moore of Readington Township, his father and step-mother, Michael and Judy Moore of Stroudsburg PA, his sister, Brooke Moore, his stepbrother, Tyler Martin and step sister, Chelsea Martin, his grandmother, Peggy Moore of So. Plainfield NJ, and his grandparents, Audrey and Herman Pfauth of Branchburg NJ.

Funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Mark Swart on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00am at North Branch Reformed Church, 203 Route 28, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 with interment to follow in Readington Reformed Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
