Eleanor Z. Kren

Eleanor Z. Kren, age 72 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, June 10, 2005, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Clark, NJ, August 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Lauter Zabel. She had formerly resided in Paramus, NJ.

A secretary, she was first employed by Merck & Co., then was personnel manager for Dial American Marketing Co., Mahwah, NJ.

Surviving are her husband, Robert C. Kren; a son, Robert E. Kren of Long Valley, NJ; a daughter, Laurie Ann Kolano of Hopewell, NJ; a brother, Edward Zabel of South Plainfield, NJ; two sisters, Elsie Searles of Bear, DE, and Frieda Simonsen of Stony Point, PA; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
