Elizabeth J. Sutphen, age 73 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on April 25, 2000 at her home in Franklin Township, NJ. Born in Pittstown, NJ on November 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Delaven Mathews and Lucy (Leaver) Mathews. She worked as the Bookkeeper for Teresko Lumber Company and Hunterdon Building Supply in Copper Hill, NJ. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Richard Sutphen. Interment in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
