Eric Robert Scheier

Eric Robert “Boomer” Scheier, loyal friend, age 23 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, September 28, 1992, he was the son of Lawrence Robert Scheier of Flemington, NJ and Vicky Lynn Forsythe of East Amwell Township, NJ.

Eric was well known for his leadership skills, sense of humor, and loyalty to his friends. He was an incredible baseball player. In addition to his love of the outdoors, he enjoyed friends, animals, music, and fitness. Eric dedicated his life to motivating and helping others.

Eric is survived by his father, Lawrence Scheier; his mother and step-father, Vicky and Bob Forsythe; his son, Bryce Tarantino, of Flemington, NJ; his sisters, Elizabeth Scheier of East Amwell Township, NJ, and Abbie Scheier, and her partner, Michael Bencivengo, of Robbinsville, NJ; his maternal grandmother, Rita Matthews-Johnson of Ringoes, NJ; his paternal grandmother, Edythe McCown of Flemington, NJ; and his two nephews, Parker Scheier and Gabriel Bencivengo.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5-8 PM in the funeral home.
