Florence S. Smith

Florence S. Smith, age 94 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, November 16, 2007, at her residence.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, June 29, 1913, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Cora Higgins Servis.

A homemaker, she enjoyed quiltting. She was a member of the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell, Larison's Corner, NJ.

Her husband, Leroy Smith, died in 1974. Surviving are two daughters; Nancy C. Blackwell, of Pipersville, PA, and Arlene R. Knaub, of The Valley, Anguilla, British West Indies; two sons, William B. Blackwell of Croton, NJ, and George S. Blackwell of Ringoes, NJ; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1 PM in the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell, Larison's Corner, NJ. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
