Born March 31, 1916 in Idaho, she was the daughter of George and Frankie Mae (Smith) Abbott. Mrs. Syester was a clerk for L.W. Woolworth, Idaho.
She was survived by her husband, Melvin Syester.
Funeral services and interment were held in Livermore, CA.
