John Schultz, age 95 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at his residence.
Born in New York City, New York, November 15, 1911, son of the late August and Natalie Lange Schultz, he had resided in Franklin Township since 1931.
He formerly worked as an Appliance Repairman for Economy Hardware, Flemington, NJ before going on to Own and Operate Johnny's Appliance Service, Franklin Township, NJ.
Mr. Schultz was of of the seven original founders of the New Jersey Astronomical Society and helped erect the Observatory at Voorhees State Park. He was also a member of the Quakertown Recreation Club.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-seven years, Anne Diemirt Schultz; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert Bronish of Franklin Township, NJ; three grandchildren, Robert Bronish, Jr. of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Kathleen and Kenneth Bronish of Franklin Township, NJ; and a brother, Chester Schultz of Franklin Township, NJ.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
