Linda Hoff, age 69, died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her home in Franklin Township NJ.
Born June 13, 1954 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Linda was the daughter of the late John and Barbara (Kaufles) Penyak. She grew up and lived in Holland Township for much of her early life and graduated from DelVal Regional High School with the Class of 1972.
She loved to garden and was so proud of her home that was surrounded by her many plants and flowers that she tended to every year. Linda loved to go antiquing with her husband, Jim, and sister-in-law, Nancy, spending countless hours shopping for beautiful lamps and other treasures at places like Peddler’s Village in Lahaska PA. She cherished the Franklin Township home that she and husband built and tended to for over 40 years.
Linda worked for more than 30 years at the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA) in Flemington NJ, serving the community primarily as a Training Instructor. She was a strong selfless woman who always cared for others before herself. She was all about family and the hundreds of relationships she developed with the clients and staff at CEA. The many individuals who were fortunate enough to know Linda were always treated with extraordinary care and attention, and she will be sorely missed by those that she leaves behind.
In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her special “Nana,” Ruth Kaufles, and her sister-in-law, Joan Fisher. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James M. Hoff, her son, Aaron Hoff of Annandale NJ, her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Holly Hoff of Hillsborough NJ, her beloved twin grandchildren, Isaac and Gianna Hoff, her brother, Michael (Susan) Penyak of Holland Township NJ, her four sisters, Bonnie Dickson of Milford NJ, Diane Penyak of Glen Gardner NJ, Ruthann Warsinski and her partner, Carlos, of Bethlehem PA, and Karen (Nick) Tooma of Easton PA, as well as her two sisters-in-law, Nancy (Ken) Yard of Utah, Lois (Fred) Vocke of Delaware Township NJ, and her two brothers-in-law, Bill (Claire) Hoff of Virginia, and Wayne Fisher of Ringoes NJ.
