Born in Quakertown, NJ on July 13, 1866, he was the son of the late George Potts and Perthania Opdyke.

Mr. Potts was predeceased by his wife, Annie (Hartpence) Potts, who died in 1939.

Interment in Union Cemetery, Boss Road, Ringoes, NJ.
