Michael J. Oliver

Michael J. Oliver, age 59 years, of Pohatcong Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at UMDNJ Hospital, Newark, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, December 13, 1944, son of the late Edward and Beatrice Cook Oliver, he had resided in Pohatcong Township for the past eight years, previously residing in Easton, PA, High Bridge, NJ, Manasquan, NJ and Westfield, NJ.

A General Contractor, Mr. Oliver owned and operated Automated Asphalt and Sealing Co., Photatcong Township, NJ, for the past twenty years.

Surviving are his wife, Gina Broad Oliver; two sons, Blair of Fort Collins, CO and Mark of Farmingdale, NJ; a daughter, Kristen Holmes of Farmingdale, NJ; a step-son, Joseph Oliver of Pohatcong Township, NJ; two brothers, Richard of Asbury, NJ and Samuel of Pattenburg, NJ; and four grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Stanton Reformed Church, Stanton, NJ. Interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
