Born July 9, 1894 in New York, she was the daughter of William and Emma (Golding) Sutherland. Her husband, William Nicoll, died in 1972.

Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment was in Restland Memorial Park, Hanover, NJ.
