Vincent J. Maiorano

Vincent J. Maiorano, age 75 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at his residence.

Born in Belleville, NJ, January 11, 1931, to the late Carmine and Mary Catalfamo Maiorano, he had resided in Raritan Township the past thirty-five years, having previously lived in Iselin, NJ.

A Carpenter, he worked for Public Service Electric & Gas, retiring in 1989. Additionally, Mr. Maiorano was a member of Union Carpenter's Local # 1342 for fifty-six years.

He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of fifty-two years, Lillian Higginbotham Maiorano; two daughters, Deborah Smith of Doylestown, PA and Diane Parisi of Franklin Park, NJ; a son, Vincent Maiorano of Clayton, OH; five grandchildren, Amy Vaupel, Aaron Cooley, and Samantha, Anthony and Stephanie Maiorano' three great-grandchildren, Elliot Holzworth and Jonathan and Joshua Vaupel; two sisters, Catherine DeRiggi of Edison, NJ and Bessie Lucking of Boynton Beach, FL; and a brother, Anthony Maiorano of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemignton, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
