A. Joan Fisher

A. Joan Fisher, age 68 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Monday, July 13, 2009 at her residence.

Born in Headquarters, NJ, December 23, 1940, daughter of the late Oscar and Emma Alleyne Hoff, she had resided in Ringoes since 1973.

She was formerly an Assistant Vice President with Core State Bank, Pennington, NJ until retiring. She was a member of the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell at Larisons Corner, NJ. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amwell Valley Fire Company, Ringoes, NJ.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, A. Wayne Fisher; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Brian Fairbrother of Ajax, Ontario, Canada; two granddaughters, Heather Borg and Carly Borg, of Canada; two brothers, Bill Hoff and his wife Clair, of Virginia, Jim Hoff and his wife Linda, of Annandale, NJ; two sisters, Lois Vocke and her husband Fred, of Stockton, NJ, Nancy Yard and her husband Ken, of Flemington, NJ; a sister-in-law, Linda Marshall, of Raritan Township, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by burial in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ. Calling hours will be Saturday 11-12 noon.
