Adrienne Marie Raftree

Adrienne M. Raftree, of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., passed into eternal rest Sunday, April 26, 2009, surrounded by her five children.

Adrienne was a homemaker for 35 years and was involved with numerous activities throughout her life. She was involved with the Girl Scouts of America for 25 years, and donated a lot of her time to events in the town of Colts Neck, including the Colts Neck Fair.

She was a wonderful daughter, a devoted wife, a caring and supporting mother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, and a friend to all she knew.

She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Mathew F. Raftree; and her parents, August D. and Shirley Walter. Surviving are her five children, Colleen M. Jaeger and her husband James of Aberdeen, Mathew F. Raftree and his wife Robin of Medford, Mass., Sean P. Raftree and his wife Erika of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., Bridget P. Raftree of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Deirdre M. Raftree of South Lake Tahoe, Calif. She also leaves behind her three beloved grandchildren, Margaret, Benedict, and Hudson, as well as a brother and sister and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at 9 AM in St. Ann's Church, Hampton, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 4, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in St. Ann's Cemetery.
