Agnes Mieszkalski Kuhlmann

Agnes Mieszkalski Kuhlmann, age 91, of Three Bridges, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ, where she had been a resident for six months.

She lived in South Plainfield, NJ for many years before moving to Three Bridges. Her husband, August ("Gus") died in 1977. He was a well-known baker. After his death, she wintered in Belleview, Florida, and spent summers with her daughter and son-in-law, Josef and Marlyn Reuter of Stockton, NJ, moving in with them in 1998.

Mrs. Kuhlmann was a homemaker, worked in her husband's bakery, was employed at the Hunterdon Medical Center and particularly enjoyed her job as a Visiting Homemaker. Mrs. Kuhlmann worshipped in the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses.

A son, Karl, and a grandson, Kurt Kuhlmann, both died in 1969.

Surviving, in addition to her daughter and son-in-law, are her daughter-in-law, Barbara Kuhlmann, of Frenchtown, NJ; eight grandchildren, Annette Arvanitides, Kenneth Kuhlmann, Darryl Reuter, Duane Reuter, Kirsten Rutledge, Michael Reuter, Christopher Reuter and Stephen Wielechowski; eleven great-grandchildren; and three of eight surviving siblings, Helen Brown of New Bedford, MA, Anna Bozek of Plainfield, NJ and Eleanor Kaufman of North Plainfield, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Holcombe- Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service in the funeral home.
