Alan Harvey Stolpen

Alan Harvey Stolpen, age 73 years, of Branchburg Township, NJ, died on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his residence.

Born in New York City, March 17, 1937, he was the son of the late Frank and Sylvia Mankow Stolpen.

He was a retired electrical engineer working most of his career for Smiths Industries.

He was a United States Army veteran.

He was pre-deceased by a brother, Ira Stolpen. Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Roni Ellen Welt Stolpen; three daughters, Marcia Lees of Branchburg, NJ, Jodi Jackson of Branchburg, NJ, and Sharon Stolpen of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren: Cassandra Lees, Timothy Jackson, and Jordan Lees; a brother, Paul Stolpen; and a sister Thea de Boer.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Flemington Jewish Community Center, 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery.
