Albert C. Venditti, age 80 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, March 24, 2006 at his residence.

Born in Staten Island, NY, July 9, 1925, son of the late Christopher and Angelina D'Amico Venditti, he had resided in Raritan Township the past twenty years, having previously resided in Staten Island, NY.

A United States Coast Guard Veteran of World War II, Mr. Venditti was formerly Director of Community Relations for Flemington Car & Truck Country, Flemington, NJ until retiring in September of 2005. Additionally, he was formerly employed by a Vending Machine Company as well as the New York Yankees Baseball Team and the New York Giants Football Team.

He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, Staten Island, NY.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-eight years, Margaret Scott Venditti; two sons, Christopher Venditti of Raritan Township, NJ and Stephen Venditti of North Arlington, NJ; a daughter, Kathryn Venditti of New York City, NY; and one granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. in St. Clare's Church, 110 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be held Sunday and Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at the Casey McCallum-Rice Funeral Home, 30 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY, 10308 (718) 317.7600 (see directions below). Travel on Amboy Road for (7) lights and make right onto Nelson Avenue.
