Albert J. Balek

Albert J. Balek, age 76 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Wednesday, October 27, 2004 in the SCCI Unit of Easton Hospital, Easton, PA.

Born in New York City, March 8, 1928, son of the late Joseph and Emilia Svoboda Balek, he had resided most of his life in Raritan Township.

He was a retired self-employed machinist and was a member of the National Rifle Asssociation. Mr. Balek was a 1947 graduate of Flemington High School.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Schneider Balek; two sons, Daniel Balek of Morrisville, PA and John Balek of Oswego, NY; a daughter, Lynne Sharp of Phillipsburg, NJ; a brother, Richard Balek of Flemington, NJ; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
