Aldona Alice Astrauckas Bush

Aldona Alice Astrauckas Bush, age 85 years, of Clinton, NJ, died on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at her home.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, March 5, 1929, daughter of the late Anthony and Adele Pliopliute Astrauckas, Aldona grew up in Brooklyn, NY until the family moved to Hunterdon County, NJ when she was sixteen years old.

She married Runkle F. "Rocky" Bush on August 11, 1948 and they were married for sixty-three years until his death in May of 2012.

She had formerly worked for many years as a housekeeper for Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Surviving are her son, Runkle F. "Frank" Bush, Jr. and his wife, Christine, and their children, Steven and wife, Kathy, and Brian and his wife, Sandy; a daughter, Kandace Beam and her husband, Delford and their children, Shawn and boyfriend, Jason, and son, Barrett; a son, Clint Bush; and nine great-grandchildren: William, Dominic, Owen, Kayleigh, Derek, Andrew, Patrick, Natalie, and Cameron.

A grandson, Jeffrey, died earlier.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Inurnment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Fairmount, NJ. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
