Alexander Daniel Pasternak, age 76 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at his home.
Born in Passaic, NJ, November 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Dimitr and Tekla Haeasym Pasternak.
He was foreman for Smith Industries, where he worked on computer boards for F-15 fighter jets. He then worked for the Home Depot, Phillipsburg, NJ for fifteen years.
He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1956-1958.
Surviving are his wife, Irene Donovan Pasternak; a daughter and son-in-law, Lorie and Christopher Bird of Coopersburg, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Geraldine Pasternak of Rockaway, NY; a sister, Irene Humanchuk of Mayfield Heights, OH; two grandsons, Jackson and Clayton Bird; a niece and her husband, Carol and Mike Biernacki and their chikldren Heather, Brent, and Brian; a nephew and his wife, Robert and Therese Humanchuk, and their children, Bobby and Jennifer.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 PM in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 11 AM until 1 PM in the funeral home.
