Alice E. Walenta

Alice E. Walenta, age 94 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, formerly of Long Island, NY, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at her residence.

Born in New York City, NY, August 30, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Elhart and Frances Steffel Seidel.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Jerry Walenta, died in 1994. Surviving are two daughters; Carol Peck of Delaware Township, NJ, and Arline Jones of Floral Park, NY; three grandchildren: Karen Eckes, Christopher Peck, and Jeffrey Peck; and four great-grandchildren: Samantha and Maxwell Eckes, and Megan and Evan Peck.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:45 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, NY. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7 PM until time of service in the funeral home.
