Alice Lee Mcqueen

Alice McQueen, age 51 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, February 23, 1963, she was the daughter of Mary Mayhan McQueen of Flemington, NJ and the late Berry McQueen. She was a lifelong resident of Flemington, NJ and a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School.

She was employed for seventeen years with Walmart, Clinton, NJ.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert McQueen. Surviving are her children: Carolyn McQueen of Flemington, NJ, Jessica Reid of Bound Brook, NJ, Mary Munyiri and husband, Patrick, of East Orange, NJ, and Terrance Beckham of Flemington, NJ; her grandchildren: Hazel McQueen, Julia, Maria, Selena, and Marvin Zepeda, all of Flemington, NJ; her brothers, James McQueen (Joann) of Flemington, NJ, Berry McQueen, Jr. (Janice) of Ewing, NJ, and John McQueen of Brent, AL; her godmother, Patricia Gillette, of Princeton, NJ; and her significant other, Robert Beckham, of Flemington, NJ; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2 PM in the Flemington Baptist Church, 170 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 PM in the church.
