Allen Clifford Trout

Allen Clifford Trout, age 89 years, of Frenchtown, NJ, died on Friday, February 25, 2011 in Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Born November 8, 1921 in Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, he was the son of the late Sam and Daisy Opdyke Trout.

He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the Reigel Paper Company and was a lifelong farmer.

He was pre-deceased by his first wife of thirty-seven years, Pauline Hujik Trout; a sister Margaret Trout, three brothers: Lloyd, Samuel and Larry Trout and a step-son, David Allen Falk. Surviving are his wife of twenty years, Loretta Ruth Kernechel Falk-Trout; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Marjorie Trout, of Falls Church, VA; two stepsons, Richard R. Falk of Phillipsburg, NJ and Christopher Robert Falk of Upper Black Eddy, PA; a step-daughter, Cheryl Lynn Hammerstone of Arkport, NY; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four nieces, and three nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from Noon until time of service in the funeral home.
