Andrew A. Alpaugh

Andrew “Andy” A. Alpaugh, age 50 years, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away at his home on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Born in Flemington, NJ, February 22, 1973, he was the son of Lester and Patricia (Beidleman) Alpaugh. He grew up in Delaware Township, NJ and then lived in Frenchtown, NJ before moving to Washington Township, NJ nine years ago to live and raise his children on the farm he loved.

His love and passion were being a forester at ForesTree Consultants- a business he built with his father, and a Christmas tree farmer at Evergreen Valley Christmas Tree Farm- a farm he started from scratch with his family.

Andy’s hobbies included hunting and snowmobiling. Above all, his family remembers, “he would do anything for anybody without question.”

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Sara (Nering) Alpaugh; and his children, Samuel and Kate Alpaugh.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral services, officiated by Monsignor David Fulton, will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ will be private.
