Andrew Makatura

Andrew Makatura, age 86 years, of Daytona Beach, FL, died on Monday, November 9, 2009, in Sandlewood Nursing Home, Daytona Beach, FL.

Born in Oxford, NJ, August 1, 1923, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Liskai Makatura.

He was a former maintenance department employee at the Jamesville Florida Hospital.

His wife, Frances Ella Snyder Makatura, as well as a daughter, Mary Breiner, died earlier.

Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Andy and Carol Makatura of Woodbury, TN and Fred and Daber Makatura of Pink Hill, NC and Dave Makatura of Interlochen, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Dean Wilson of Daytona Beach, FL; two sisters, Viola Doster of Flemington, NJ and Elsie Kachmar in PA; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
