Anita O. Gillard

Anita O. Gillard, age 89 years, of Monroe Township, NJ, died on Monday, July 14, 2008 in Atlantic Regional Care, Atlantic City, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, July 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Wasil and Anna Gerechka Matwias. She had formerly resided in Ramsey, NJ, and Raritan Township, NJ.

She was a graduate of Rider College and a retired self-employed real estate broker.

Her husband, Stuart C. Gillard, Sr., died in 1999. She is survived by a son, Lt. Col. Stuart C. Gillard, Jr., of Plainsboro, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
