Anita Podell

Anita Podell, age 73 years, of Ocala, FL, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at West Marion Hospital, Ocala, FL.

Born in New York, February 5, 1933, daughter of the late Izzy and Sadie Alterman Laskey, she had resided in Ocala over fifteen years, having previously lived in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, NY.

She was formerly a Bank Teller at various banks in New York for many years.

Surviving are her husband of twenty-eight years, Arthur Podell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Kathy Goldberg of Raritan Township, NJ and Mitchell and Sheila Goldberg of Manhattan, NY; and two grandchildren, Benjamin Goldberg of Raritan Township, NJ and Zach Goldberg of Manhattan, NY.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m in the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
