Ann Cronce Lamendola entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Flemington, NJ on March 15, 1936, Ann graduated from Flemington High School in 1954. She was a bus driver for the Flemington-Raritan School District for many years as well as a transportation dispatcher for the school district.
She was a 4-H sewing club leader and taught catechism for St. Magdalen’s Parish for many years. She was a baton twirler, choir member in high school, avid sewer, baker, gardener, bird watcher, and a collector of Tom Clark gnomes and thimbles.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Russell J. Lamendola, her three children; Linda Rinaldi (Jim), Russell J. Lamendola, Jr. (Misty), Kathleen Atterbury (Mark), and six grandchildren; Jason Sine (Julia), Jessica Checchio (Thomas), Matthew Sine, Holly Atterbury, Joshua Atterbury and Noah Atterbury and a great granddaughter, Reina Juliet Sine, as well as two sisters; Nancy Ainslie and Mary Fazekas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry, and Frances Kohl Cronce and her brother, James Cronce, who died in March of this year.
There will be a private visitation at the funeral home followed by a public Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Magdalen De Pazzi Roman Catholic Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Burial in St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carmelite Monastery, 26 Harmony School Road, Flemington, NJ, 08822 or the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
