Anna Fandel, age 85 years, of Three Bridges, NJ, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Bound Brook, NJ, June 23, 1929, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Olivo, she had resided in Hunterdon County since 1951. Anna was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church of Flemington, and was a former cafeteria worker for Lipton Corporation, Raritan Township, and later for Readington Township Elementary School in Whitehouse Station.
Her husband, Paul Fandel, died in 2000, and a daughter, Janice Fandel died in 1958.
Surviving are two sons, Paul L. Fandel of Flemington, NJ, and Bobby Fandel of Lebanon, NJ, a daughter, Suzanne Butt of Burlington, VT, a brother, Anthony Olivo of Hillsborough, NJ, and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
