Anna May Vanselous, age 79 years, of Frenchtown, NJ, died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at her home.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, December 3, 1936, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Small Plennert, she had resided in Hunterdon County most of her life. Anna May had resided in Frenchtown fifty-five years.
A 1954 graduate of Flemington High School, Anna May was formerly a bank teller with the Hunterdon County National Bank, Flemington, NJ and later was employed at the Frenchtown School cafeteria.
Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Richard Vanselous; a daughter, Donna Erdman and her husband, James of Avoca, NY; three grandchildren, Jamie Sornberger and her husband, Christopher of Pohatcong, NJ, Thomas Anderson of Flemington, NJ and Lisa Anderson of Frenchtown, NJ; two great grandchildren, Amber and Ryan Sornberger; and a brother, Peter Plennert of Flemington, NJ.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 25, 2016, at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday 10:00AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 1100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
