Anna T. Paieda

Anna T. Paieda, age 106 years, died Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ where she had resided recently.

Born in Newark, NJ, October 10, 1915, daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Zima Scheier, she had resided in the Flemington area most of her life.

Anna was formerly employed by the A & P Store, Flemington, NJ and later by the Flemington Cut Glass Company.

She was a communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Her husband, George W. Paieda, died in 2003 and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Paieda, died in 2021. Anna was also pre-deceased by her eleven siblings, Paul Scheier, Stephen Scheier, Mary Rolland, William Scheier, Joseph Scheier, John Scheier, George Scheier, August Scheier, Frank Scheier, Helen Harwick and Michael Scheier.

Anna is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, George A. Paieda of Flemington, NJ, and John (Jack) and Jennifer Paieda of Easton PA; two grandchildren, Ava Paieda and Cory Paieda and three great grandchildren, Kailey Paieda, Cory Paieda and Wynter Jayne Paieda.

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father John Primich will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 10:30 AM in the St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Burial with her late husband will follow immediately after mass in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Please meet directly at church at 10:15 AM prior to the service.
