Anne K. Gorel

Anne K. Gorel, age 82 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died Monday, January 20, 2014, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township,NJ.

Born in Carbondale, PA., May 15, 1931, daughter of the late Wasil and Mary Sabeth Kutch, she had formerly resided in Delaware Township, NJ for thirty years and had resided in Readington Township fourteen years.

Anne was a legal secretary for forty-five years and was last employed by the Law Office of the late John E. Weinhofer. She retired in 1997.

Her husband, James E. Gorel, died in 2012.

Surviving are three sons, Gregory J. Gorel and his wife, Christine, of Readington Township, NJ, Richard J. Gorel and his wife, Michelle, of Tempe, AZ., and James E. Gorel, Jr. of Bethlehem, PA.; a daughter, Mary Louise Rives and her husband, Robert, of Battle Mountain, NV.; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2014, at 2:00PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 5:00-8:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hubert's Animal Shelter, 3201 US 22, North Branch, NJ 08876.
