Anne Toth

Anne Toth, age 93 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at her residence.

Born in Lyndhurst, NJ, June 12, 1914, daughter of the late Antonio and Raphaela Degise Pescatore, she had resided in Flemington since 1940 having previously lived in Ringoes, NJ

A 1932 graduate of Flemington High School, she was an Office Manager with Johnnies Garage, Flemington, NJ and later at Johnnies AMC, Flemington, NJ. Additioanlly, she was formerly employed by the Flemington Fur Company, Flemington, NJ.

A Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, she was a former member of its Rosary and Altar Society.

Her husband, John R. Toth, died in 2000 and she was also pre-deceased by a brother, Thomas Pescatore and a sister, Helen Vitale.

Surviving are two daughters, Phylis Lalavee and Peggy Toth, both of Flemington, NJ; three grandchildren, Wade Strober and his wife, Rachele, Molly Strober and Denyse Lehmon and her husband, John Lehmon; one great grandson, John Strober; a sister, Pauline Giello of Englishtown, NJ; and a brother, Carmen Pescatore of Winchester, KY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
