Annie M. Decaprio

Annie M. Decaprio, age 81 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Friday, September 9, 2005 at her residence.

Born in Syracuse, NY, January 9, 1924 to the late Frederick Leonard and Minerva Spencer Morecroft, she had lived in Flemington for the past twenty-five years, having previously resided in Glen Gardner, NJ.

A graduate of Bennington College in Vermont, Mrs. Decaprio was a self-employed Editor, Writer and Author.

Surviving are her daughter, Nancy Decaprio Bates of Flemington, NJ; three grandchildren, Leon Vannais of Phoenix, AZ, Stephanie Fox of West Amwell, NJ and Christine Vannais of Pembroke Pines, FL; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Barton Morecroft of North Carolina and George Morecroft of Florida; and a sister, Mary Fowler of Greenville, North Carolina.

In remembrance of Annie DeCaprio, a gathering of family and friends will occur from 5-8 PM on October 22, 2005, at the Union Hotel, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
