Anthony J. Danzo

Anthony J. Danzo, age 75 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph and Serafina Zotto Danzo. Anthony was the owner and operator of Anthony J. Danzo Law Office in Frenchtown, NJ. He was an active member of the Hunterdon County Democratic Party and a Commissioner on the Hunterdon County Tax Board. An alumnus of Penn State University, Anthony gained his law degree at Seton Hall. He was an avid Philly Sports fan and a Philadelphia Eagles season ticket holder since 1975. He is pre-deceased by his sister, Emily Profaci. Surviving are his loving wife of fifty-one years, Sandra MacDonald Danzo; two children, Joseph Danzo of Lambertville, NJ and Christine Matthews and her husband, Brian of Holland Township, NJ, and two grandchildren, Brian Anthony Matthews and Anthony William Matthews. A compassionate man who was befriended and loved by many. Anthony was known for his kindness, honesty, and dry sense of humor.
