Anthony W. "Booby" Dilbatis, age 91 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at his residence.
Born December 22, 1913 in New York City, NY to the late Joseph and Anna Borofsky Dilbatis, he had resided in Delaware Township the past twenty years, having previously lived in Elizabeth, NJ, Linden, NJ and Manalapan, NJ.
He was employed as a Pipe Fitter for over forty years at Phelps Dodge Copper Products, Elizabeth, NJ.
A United States Army Veteran of World War II, Mr. Dilbatis was an avid fisherman and New York Yankees fan.
Surviving are three daughters, Nancy and husband Richard Ormando of Delaware Township, NJ, Edith Schofield of Stuart, FL and Barbara Balon of Mountain Top, PA; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 7-9 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home.
