Antonio G. Bruno

Antonio G. Bruno, age 82 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died Saturday, February 14, 2015, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, April 14, 1932, son of the late Thomas and Susan Francera Bruno, he had formerly resided in Carteret, NJ, and had resided in Readington Township over forty years. Employed in the maintenance dept. of J.M. Huber, Corp., Edison, NJ until retiring, he was a member of the Senior Citizens, Glen Gardner, NJ. His wife, Catherine Bartell Bruno, died in 2005. Surviving are three daughters, Susan Stewart of Ringoes, NJ, Theresa Bruno of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and Eleanor Bruno of Tucson, AZ.; two sons, Thomas Bruno of Whitehouse Station, NJ, and Antonio R. Bruno of Westfield, MA; a brother, Matthew Bruno of Watchung, NJ; a sister, Mildred Barrilla of Toms River, NJ; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2015, at 10:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to his great grandson, Wyatt Hughes, who is jumping for his Pop-Pop in Jump Rope For Heart for the American Heart Association.
