Ardith L. Darago

Ardith L. Darago, age 71 years, of Holland Township, NJ, died Thursday, August 25, 2011, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Mineola, NY, April 21, l940, daughter of the late William and Anna Lee Rhinelander Percival, she had formerly resided in Whitehouse Station, NJ before moving to Holland Township in 1991. She formerly worked at the family business, Garden State Century Hardware, Whitehouse Station, NJ.

A l958 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington,NJ, she was a member of the Finesville United Methodist Church where she was also Church Treasurer.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-two years, M. Robert Darago; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Ann and Gary Bechtold of Holland Township, NJ and Janet and Alex Leist of Lopatcong Township, NJ; her six beloved grandchildren, Roy Bechtold, Matthew Mills, Cole Bechtold, Aubrey Bechtold, Niki Leist and Scott Leist and her brother, William Percival of Greenville, SC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ, followed by interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Finesville United Methodist Church, 150 Route 627, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
