Arlene Cooper

Arlene Cooper, age 61 years, of Flemington, NJ, died and was born into Heaven on Sunday, October 20, 2013, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Somerville, NJ, January 17, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Artence and Mildred Sellers Cooper. She had resided in the Flemington area most of her life.

Arlene attended Hunterdon Central High School. She was employed by Grand Union for many years and was formerly a cashier at Stop & Shop in Raritan Township.

Arlene leaves behind to mourn her, a daughter, Kimberly Michele Cooper; her grandchildren: Kenneth Wideman, Jr., Cherelle Cooper, Jordan Wideman, and Kendall A. Williams II; her great-grandchildren: Ava Jasmine Cooper-Gaines, Ariana Evenly Miller, and Jamere Anthony Williams; her siblings: Thomas Cooper, Henry Cooper (Janice), Tony Cooper, Charles Daniel Roberts, Delois Groover, Yvonne Crawley, Annette Housel (Raymond), Virginia Shaw, Urshlene Cruse (William), Carol Mitchell (John), Robin Wilson (Jerry), Nicole Little, and Patricia Brown; special friend, Lenny Blanco; an Aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held from 10-11 AM Friday in the funeral home.
