Arlene W. Polhemus

Arlene W. Polhemus, age 87 years, of Bluffton, SC, died Saturday, November 16, 2019, in Bluffton. Born in Branchburg Township, NJ, November 16, 1932, daughter of the late Leonard and Margaret Bacorn Waldron, she resided in Hunterdon County all her life until 1992. A resident of Bluffton, SC for four years, Arlene was a 1950 graduate of Flemington High School and a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Lebanon, PA. where she formerly resided before moving to Bluffton. She was Director of the High Bridge Work Center for the ARC of Hunterdon for twenty-three years, retiring in 1995. Among her survivors are a daughter, Nancy Hibbett of Bluffton, SC; a son, Gary Polhemus of Sebago, ME; a brother, Charles Waldron of Lebanon, PA; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ, on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:30 am.
