Arthur H. Day

Arthur H. Day, age 80 years, of Shallotte, NC, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died on March 29, 2009, in North Carolina.

Born in Flemington, NJ, July 3, 1928, he was the son of the late Carroll and Louella Lambert Day.

He was formerly a lab technician with JCP&L Co., Flemington, NJ.

He was a member of Darcy Lodge #37 F. & A.M., Flemington, NJ; a former deacon of the Flemington Baptist Church; a graduate of Flemington High School; and a former member of the Hunterdon County Camping Group for many years.

His wife, Phyllis Ann Day, died on September 1, 2008. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Day, of New York City, NY; a granddaughter, Ella Mahoney of New York City, NY; and a brother, C. Brayton Day, of Flemington, NJ.

Graveside Services were held on Thursday in Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
