Arthur J. McCaffrey, age 72 years, of Franklin Township, Somerset County, NJ passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at his residence. *A more comprehensive obituary will be forthcoming* Born in Midwood Hospital, Brooklyn, NY on October 22, 1949, he was the son of the late Francis and Mary Lee McCaffrey. He had formerly resided in New York City before moving here to New Jersey. Artie was a United States Navy veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War era. He primarily worked in the HVAC industry and even worked for the Guggenheim Museum in Manhattan, NY for a time. Surviving is his daughter, Kelly Schatzel; and his three siblings, Francis McCaffrey, Robert McCaffrey, and Veronica Howard. Private cremation services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
