Arthur Podell

Arthur Podell, age 83 years, of Ocala, FL, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, FL.

Born in Manhattan, NY, November 22, 1929, he was the son of the late Max and Betty Harris Podell.

He was an apartment building superintendent in Manhattan for many years.

His wife, Anita Podell, died in 2006. Surviving are two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Kathy Goldberg of Raritan Township, NJ and Mitchell and Sheila Goldberg of Manhattan, NY; two grandchildren, Benjamin Goldberg of Raritan Township, NJ and Zach Goldberg of Manhattan, NY; and four nephews and nieces, Michael Tarriff, Harold Tarriff, Patti Avin, and Faye Weisgal.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 11 AM in the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
