Asa S. "Ace" Gulick, Jr., age 85 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, November 9, 2006 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Flemington, NJ, September 6, 1921, son of the late Asa S. Gulick, Sr. and Ruth Miller Gulick, he had resided in this area his entire life.
A 1940 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, Mr. Gulick was formerly a truck driver for GLF, Flemington, NJ. He also was a Mason Contractor, who retired from Hunterdon General Contractors in 1990.
He was a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church, Flemington, NJ. In addition to enjoying working outside, Mr. Gulick was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Yankees, the New York Giants and of Nascar.
His wife of forty-one years, Anna Kadezabek Gulick, died in 1986.
Surviving are his daughter, Carol Ann Gulick of Raritan Township, NJ; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas R. and Carole Gulick of Groton, MA; two granddaughters, Rachel and Emily Gulick of Groton, MA; a sister, Doris Bryk of Johnson, NY; a brother, Jim Gulick of Taylorsville, KY; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ.
