Audrey J. Wilson, age 69 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at her home.
Audrey was born in Upper Black Eddy, PA, October 15, 1939, daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Bittenmaster, and had resided in the Delaware Valley her entire life.
Mrs. Wilson was an honors graduate of Churchman's Business College, Easton, PA, and was the Office Manager and head of the Human Resources Department at Hunterdon Transformer Company, Alpha, NJ, for forty-six years. She was also a public accountant and tax consultant and was co-owner and operator of Delware Valley Sports Center with her husband.
Mrs. Wilson was a communicant of Our Lady Of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ, and was formerly the organist, a choir member, and a CCD teacher.
Audrey was a person that put everybody's needs before her own and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She thoroughly enjoyed watching NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr., and rooting for the Boston Red Sox.
She was pre-deceased by her brother, Fred Bittenmaster, Jr. Surviving are her loving husband of forty-eight years, Robert A. Wilson, Sr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Thomas Thompson of Milford, NJ; a son, Robert A. Wilson, Jr., of Lebanon, NJ; and three grandchildren: Kyle, Lindsey, and Sean.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in Our Lady Of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
