Aurelia Restani, age 90 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at her residence.
Born in New York City, NY, September 2, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Rolleri Prato and had lived in Hunterdon County most of her life.
A 1935 graduate of Flemington High School, Flemington, NJ, Mrs. Restani also attended Trenton State College and Columbia University. She was formerly a teacher. She also had formerly worked as a waitress at Colligan's Stockton Inn, Stockton, NJ.
Mrs. Restani was a longtime, faithful communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.
Her husband, Aldo J. Restani, died in 1995.
Surviving are her grandson, Louis Goldin; her adopted family, Rhonda and Howard Goldin; two nieces; a nephew; a great niece; and many loving, devoted friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
