Bambi Bennett

October 16, 1968 — August 8, 2024

Bambi Bennett of Phillipsburg NJ, age 55, died Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick NJ.

Born October 16, 1968 in Trenton NJ, Bambi was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth (Weisneck) Seifert. She grew up in the Trenton area before moving with her family to Flemington NJ and then to Phillipsburg where she has lived for more than 26 years.

Bambi received her CNA certificate and worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, as a Home Health Aide in the area and at several nursing facilities in Hunterdon and Warren County. A gift for singing, she was known to lead many karaoke sessions with the residents of those facilities, much to their delight. At one time, Bambi also worked for Kohl’s in Phillipsburg.

In her spare time, Bambi enjoyed writing poetry and shopping with her grandchildren. One of her favorite things to do with her grandchildren was to pick a song for all of them to sing and dance to while laughing and enjoying themselves. She would enjoy going to the Red Wolfe Inn in Belvidere NJ, in part because of the wolves that were located there. She had a love for wolves and other animals and was surrounded at her home with dogs, cats, and even a tortoise!

In addition to her parents, Bambi was predeceased by her brother Daniel Seifert and her sister, Linda Bungay . She is survived by her daughter, Nikoma Bennett, her four sons, Ronnie Bennett, Larry Bennett, Anthony Bowker, and Taylor Miller, all of Phillipsburg, her partner of 17 years, Jim Miller of Phillipsburg, her brothers, Larry Seifert, Lance Seifert and Charles Jones, her sisters, Sharon Russo and Stacy Pallitto-Cooper, and her grandchildren, Amir, Jayliana, Novah and Khalani, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At this time, there are no services planned.

Funeral and cremation services are under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Interment will be private.
