Barbara A. Miller

Barbara A. Miller, age 72 years, of Bath, PA, died on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her home.

Born in Ringoes, NJ, August 15, 1938, daughter of the late Joel Frank Hellyer and Dorothy Mae Sperling Hellyer, she had formerly resided in Kingwood Township, NJ before moving to Bath, PA in 2003.

She was formerly employed by Rockwell Industries in Hopewell, NJ, and later by Holton Foods, Frenchtown, NJ. She was a member of the Amwell Church of the Brethren of Delaware Township, NJ where she also taught bible school; was a member of the Red Hat Society; was active in the Senior Center of Bath, PA and enjoyed cooking, fishing, flowers and playing cards.

Her husband James L. Miller died in 2000 and a sister June Shepman died in 2008.

Surviving is a son, James R. Miller of Milford, NJ; two daughters, Sherry Rodenbaugh of Forks Township, PA and Patricia Emmons of Tannersville, PA; two brothers, Frank Hellyer of Kissimmee, FL and Howard Hellyer of Gettysburg, PA; five grandchildren, Savannah Van Fleet, Mathew Miller, Loren Miller, Chrystal Emmons, Jade Emmons; two great-grandchildren and her faithful dog Bambi.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
