Barbara A. Sonier

Barbara A. Sonier, age 55 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, November 24, 2008, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, May 7, 1953, she was the daughter of the late James and Betty Jane MacIlvain Cairns. She had resided in Raritan Township for the past twenty-three years. She had formerly resided in Plainsboro, NJ.

A homemaker, she was a member of Copper Hill Country Club, Raritan Township, NJ, and Willoughby Golf Club, Stuart, FL.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas M. Sonier; two sons, Douglas Sonier, Jr., of Philadelphia, PA, and Brian Sonier of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter, Laura Clavijo of Raritan Township, NJ; a sister, Jane Sutter of Fairfax, VA; and five grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in Calvary Episcopal Church, Broad Street and New York Avenue, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
